Cabrera Eolian Reactor, a new structure and operational mode.
This is a design of wind turbine that is product of over 60 years of research, which has transcended the paper, since this design has reached not only from the study of natural physical phenomena related to the case, but by successive tests and numerous implementations of wind turbines that have allowed fixes and optimizations to reach the expected response.
ADVANTAGES AND DESIGN FEATURES
More Power
It can generate higher power than those obtained in the rest of the world. This design can achieve up to 10 MW power. And we are currently working on a new concept and design of wind turbine that its power may reach up to 20 MW. It should be noted that wind turbines currently in operation in the world have no more power than 3 MW.
More power is obtained because the EOLIAN REACTOR has:
A blade system that capture the wind, like an umbrella.
Blades with an area 3 times bigger than the ones in European designs.
Blades wider in their peaks than in their near to axis extremities (contrary to European designs), that seize in better way the winds in high grounds, that for being colder, produce more pressure.
A blade that favors the spinning by receiving more preassure in it’s peak than in it’s near to axis extremity.
A blade witch design allows it to receive 2 gust of wind, one reaching it the blade, and other leaving the blade; of that comes up the Eolian Reactor name.
It’s possible the use of this kind of blade because de design of the Eolian Reactor have a double pyramidal structure, one in it’s blade system and the other in it’s tower, that allows it to resist bigger wind preassures.
Noiseless
Due to its structural design, it doesn’t generate noise, major problem of existing wind turbines in use.
Lower Cost.
Its price per KW is 50% less than its foreign equivalent.
The design shows a structure with less steel material compared to existing wind turbines in operation. Specifically, for each MW of power generated, the structure occupies 40% less of steel, greatly decreasing their cost.
It has a smaller size for equivalent power generation.
1.5 MW wind turbine power technologies in the world today, have rotor diameters of 70 to 82 meters.
Cabrera's design for the same rotor diameters, generates 4 to 5 times more power and half the cost of construction.
It requires very little maintenance over its shelf life because it’s functions control system is part of the structural design, witch strength makes it less vulnerable to climate and environment, and allows it to prescind from computers that requires a periodic regulation.
It has a lower cost of installation and maintenance as well, as by its advantage of not producing noise pollution, can be located in more accessible places.
Easy construction
Major Resistance.
It resist more wind pressures in running, achieving to obtain power from them, in higher speed ranges.
In tests and calculations made in the area, it has obtained that in one square mile, with winds between 25km/hy 30 km / h, 200 MW can be obtained. And if the winds are 40 mph, it doubles that power.
More productive and versatile.
Versatility in terms of its location or type of area where it will be used, because it delivers power in a wider range of wind speeds; from gentle winds of 10 km / h up winds of 130 km / h. or more.
Shelf Life
100 years
Among other invaluable advantages that emplaces it over the features of current wind turbines.
TESTS
The latest design built and put into operation was a 300 KW wind turbine, where we proved its advantages and expected performance.
Its maximum output of 300 kW could be obtained with winds of 24 KM / H, where also could be seen live its quiet operation.
We extracted 200 liters per second of water from 12 meters depth with a pump extractor calculated and built for that condition.

FIELDS OF ACTION
Its main use is to form large-scale wind farms, where it would be possible to secure greater powers with fewer wind turbines, and located in more accessible places because of its noiseless condition.
PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
It is planed to use The Cabrera’s turbine design to obtain ground water, water desalination and power generation for irrigation of large areas of crops in arid zones(desert), benefiting of the great advantages of the desert in quantity of solar radiation.
Its important to detail that GEN community (desert farming community) could corroborate that generating the same conditions in the south of the country (Región de los Lagos, parallel 37S to 40S), only varying the solar factor, was able to quadruple its production of vegetables such as alfalfa. http://www.corgen.cl/
By way of demonstrating its power, we can say that this design along with a generator is capable of pumping over 400 gallons of water per second at depths greater than 100 meters.
This application is combined with an irrigation device designed by the same author, that allow a better use of irrigation water, obtaining a substantial decrease of the amount of water employed, greater extent of crop area and lower frequency of irrigation, all factors that strongly impact in a lower cost.
Other innovative applications
the use of wind and hydropower combination for obtaining energy in a steadily and controlled way, independent of the presence and variability of the wind, and without altering the geography.In combination with the new design of irrigation device, can prevent fires from large areas with dry vegetation in the summer.
Lowering the cost of many other applications such as:
The process of desalination of seawater, because about 60% of its value corresponds to the energy cost.
The crops on the slopes of the hills, because they would have a source of lower-cost power to push the water for irrigation.
The generation of hydrogen.
Among many other applications that could have grater powers of clean energy sources and a considerable reduction in cost.

NEXT IMPLEMENTATION
The final optimization of wind turbine projects to build a 1MW device, as a first step to achieving implementations of major powers.
